Health

Our health is a combination of our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. While guidelines and tips can help us form healthy habits, for some of us, they don’t always bring us to a place of rest. Instead, we keep reading more books, trying new diets, and following all the rules — we can’t find peace with our health because we could still be better! Instead, God invites us to find rest in our health; imperfections, limitations, and all.

Physical Health

Our culture has an unlimited number of ideas for how to get and keep the “perfect” body. And it’s ours to have if we would just do the right workouts, eat the right foods, and take the right supplements. Yet idolizing this idea of perfection and obsessing over each step, isn’t what God wants for us. He didn’t say our bodies are a temple of the world’s glory — they are temples of Him! How can we find rest in our imperfect bodies that were made in the image of our perfect God?
